There are many calculators on the internet for calculating integrals. They can be very helpful in your studying, especially if you want to check your final answer.
The following is a review of 3 good online calculators for calculating integrals. Read and choose the calculator you prefer.
1. Symbolab Calculator – This calculator is very intuitive, like the Symbolab limit calculator. It includes a keyboard for all the mathematical signs needed, shows the solution steps and offers solved examples. It also solves a wide range of integrals: definite and indefinite integrals, one-variable and multi-variable integrals, and improper integrals.
Pros:
- Free.
- Very intuitive and user-friendly.
- Shows the solution steps.
- Solves different types of integrals.
Cons:
- It does not show graphs. In my opinion, it is less required when solving integrals. Also, if you want to see the graph, you can use a graph plotter.

2. The integral-calculator – a nice calculator. It doesn’t have a keyboard with the mathematical signs, but it’s pretty easy to figure out how to write the function in the integral. It calculates both definite and indefinite integrals of one variable. It shows the solution steps, and even shows graphs.
Pros:
- Free and online – no need to install anything.
- Intuitive and easy to use.
- Shows the solution steps.
- Shows the relevant graphs.
Cons:
- Solves only integrals of one variable.

3. WolframAlpha Calculator – This calculator also calculates different types of integrals: definite and indefinite integrals, double integrals, triple integrals, and also improper integrals. It has one main field where you put the integral, no matter which integral it is. But the input field is manual rather than intuitive. The keyboard is partial, and does not include all common mathematical signs. Because it’s not user-friendly, it includes examples of how to write different integrals, so the user can learn how to insert integrals into a calculator. For me, this is a major drawback. Another disadvantage is that the calculator isn’t free. It shows the final answer for free but one has to pay in order to get the solution steps and more info.
In summary, pros:
- Calculate different types of integrals, including multivariate.
- One field for entering all types of integrals.
Cons:
- Free final answer, but a detailed solution is available only for a fee.
- Not intuitive – all signs should be entered manually.
